We understand that visiting a new church is an important move people do not make without a lot of thought. Because our way of doing church will feel a little different, we want to help you understand what you will experience at Redemption.
Expect to hear about Jesus and the gospel.
A lot. Gospel clarity is our highest value. Seriously!
Expect to be honest about your struggles and your story.
Vulnerability opens us up to God’s rescuing love in Jesus. Weakness is our sweet spot!
Expect a small gathering of people creating meaningful community.
We are at the beginning of our journey, looking forward to welcoming new people.
Expect repeated invitations to engage in life-on-life relationships with people beyond Sundays.
Ragamuffins Coffee House is a great place to connect during the week.
What about our kids?
While we hope to offer childcare for children ages newborn to preschool in the future, parents are invited to bring their children with them in the worship gathering. You’ll notice other families at Redemption choose to do this. It’s our joy to have children of all ages worship Jesus with us!

We look forward to seeing you this Sunday! Our worship gathering begins at 10AM each Sunday. We meet inside our coffee house, Ragamuffins Coffee House. There is plenty of on-street parking in front of the coffee house.

Worship Gatherings Sundays at 10AM
God’s word changes our lives by communicating one message that’s all about Jesus. We explore the rescuing love of God in Christ through a number of different messages together.
Bible Study
Wednesdays at 6PM
The church family grows through life-on-life connections around the message of the Bible. We encourage each other using a variety of helpful, Christ-centered materials. We are currently studying Three Free Sins, by Steve Brown. Excellent!

Why a Coffee House?
Ragamuffins Coffee House loves and serves the Laurel community by cultivating a place to connect around hand-crafted coffee. Redemption developed Ragamuffins as a way to connect the gospel to daily life and as a space for Sunday worship gatherings. We want to see strong community permeate our church and coffee house.

What We Believe
Redemption Community Church is a nondenominational Christian church with Reformed roots. The Reformed confessions and catechisms, such as the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Heidelberg Catechism, are reliable guides and helpful summaries of what we believe the Bible teaches.
With other Christian and evangelical churches,
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
